Gallery Milenko Atanackovic in Bijeljina was founded in 1985. It is located within the municipal building in the city center. It is named after the first academic painter from Bijeljina and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Until 1992, it established contacts and cooperation with the most important museums and galleries in the former Yugoslavia. With the disintegration of the SFRY, the Gallery mainly cooperated with the cultural institutions of the Republika Srpska and Serbia and Montenegro. Since 2005, the Gallery has re-established cooperation with relevant institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From its founding until today, in the gallery "Milenko Atanackovic" exhibited numerous renowned artists through numerous art exhibitions.
