The ambient whole of the square is enlarged by the newly built building of the "Cultural Center", the Semberija Museum and the summer garden of the new city cafe, a favorite meeting place of the people of Bijeljina.
The building of the Cultural Center was built on the site of the former Youth Center in the very center of the city. The Cultural Center has more than 4,000 square meters of usable space, including a multi-purpose hall with 350 seats for theater performances and other cultural events. The Cultural Center houses the premises of cultural institutions, including a youth center, cultural and artistic societies, a new hall for sessions of the City Assembly, as well as the Gallery of the Cultural Center, which was renamed the former "Milenko Atanackovic" Gallery, founded in 1985. The Gallery has established cooperation with relevant institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since its founding, many renowned artists have exhibited in this gallery through numerous art exhibitions.
